Why I'll ALWAYS love Harry Potter.

I'm starting my journey on Hogwarts Express, eating things I've never tasted or heard of  or seen before. I've just befriended a boy with ginger hair and I think we could get along really well. I also met a girl with big hair who addresses herself as a know-it-all. Everything is so new to me and by new I also me there's a whole lot of exciting things waiting for me at the end of this train ride...Hoping that it will be nothing like my life in 4, Privet Drive! Yikes!

This is my interpretation of what I'd feel boarding the Hogwarts Express for the first time :) I always dreamed of travel by that train, and going to a school like Hogwarts...but that's not possible...I am a mere muggle.

When I remember Harry's struggle and how unjust his life was even though he did nothing wrong...sometimes I can relate to what he feels. Even though Harry Potter is pure fiction, I still believe it changed me to be better.

Major things I learnt from reading Harry Potter books-

Losing someone is not the best feeling in the world...

And avenging the loss will never make it all better either.

Never give in to hate and always stand by love.

Family are sometimes misunderstood...

But the true ones always have your back.

True friends are treasures, something you don't find immediately, but something you earn, with time.

Evil will always exist, in any form. The point is whether you choose to defend it or you choose to fight it.

After reading these books, I value and respect a lot of things. Magic may not be all that real, but love is the closest thing we have to magic.  Harry was a brave boy, who always put himself before others. He had the kindness of his mother's according to Sirius. And kindness is something most people lack in today's world. But I hope many kids will read Harry Potter books, because they give importance to why we should be humane and to why we should choose to do the right thing instead of the easy one.

Will you all agree with me(accurately/loosely) when I say one should have-
A mentor like Dumbledore. A well wisher like Hagrid. A guardian like Sirius. A lover like Snape. A family like the Weasley's. A mother like Lily. And friends like Hermione and Ron.

Cheers to all and remember-

Ya'll have a great week! :)

    1. Yeah, I cried too. Even though in the first few books, he was portrayed as evil. In the back on my mind I always knew there was more to him. Because Dumbledore trusted him and Dumbledore was never wrong :)

  15. As a teenager I was hooked on those books. The power of a good story is enormous! I forget time and place when I started reading. In fact, I have been rereading the books during the last weeks, and they're still amazing. Probably also because my English has improved and i can actually understand everything now ;-)
